Jackson is a full-time college student whose goals were to gain muscle but struggled to stick to a consistent gym routine on his own. Since training with Mounir, Jackson has finally hit his stride & has adopted fitness into his lifestyle. He is now in the best shape of his life & continues to improve! He wakes up in a great mood and his energy levels and performance at school are off the charts!
Prior to training I never did any weight lifting and thought that skinny was beautiful. Since training with Kris, I now realize that being strong & having a healthy body is really the new sexy. :) During the training sessions, Kris pushes my body to its limit; however, come post- workout, I feel great. Weight lifting has not only strengthened my body but also my mind and has helped with with school. It's never too late to start. Set your mind to it and just do it!
Alan is majoring in Math-Computer Science at UCSD. He is really enjoying training with Mounir, especially when they bond over Dragon Ball Z. One of the best things about his training is that people notice he’s SLIMMER, especially in his face! His old clothes are now nearly falling off! Additionally, his endurance and strength have increased and he is now squatting 235x6, deadlifting 225x5, and benching 105x8.
Nikita is completing her Masters in Computer Engineering at UCSD and is a movie fanatic. She has torn both ACLs & has a pinched nerve. Her main goal was to find a way to exercise without pain, which is now possible thanks to KD! Before training, doing normal tasks (carrying her own groceries) was impossible to do without aggravating her pinched nerve. Nikita has now gained the FREEDOM to do everyday tasks EASILY and most importantly PAIN FREE!
Racy is a UCSD student majoring in Management Science. She never worked out prior to training with Tyler & in just 3 weeks, she has already seen major results! Before, Racy thought training would be difficult and boring; however, now she thinks it's FUN and is EXCITED TO TRAIN! On her off days, she comes to the gym with friends & they motivate each other. Working out is not her favorite & most effective way to relieve stress!
David is a Software Engineer at Accriva Diagnostics & one of his biggest gains from Personal Training is his development of routine and discipline in the gym. He worked out on his own previously; however, working with Mounir has unleashed his lifting potential and he is now hitting new PRs weekly! David always has a great time training and loves this gym’s encouraging environment. Through training, he has gained confidence in himself overall and in his heavy lifting abilities.
I’m a full time Pre-Med student at UCSD majoring in Bio-Chem & started training to get in shape before starting Medical School in 2018. Since training with KD, everything is easier. I can wear anything I want, I watch what I eat, I sleep better, & I HAVE A LOT MORE ENERGY! Working out used to be a drag, now it’s fun going to the gym!
My arthritic knees have been painful for years and I have had surgery on both. Training with Justin Orr has completely changed my life. I have gotten stronger, leaner, and have improved my cardio fitness. But what is MOST important is my knees are NO LONGER IN PAIN!
Danyel is a fulltime Anthropologist at Ancestry.com and is newly married. She had no idea she would love coming to the gym! Training with KD has changed her life, she never expected to fully recover from her dislocation, but is now stronger and fitter post injury! Her strength often surprises her and everyday life has become easier: tasks around the house, carrying groceries, lifting boxes, running with her two dogs, and more!
Bolin is studying Applied Mathematics at UCSD full time and is actively achieving his goal of getting stronger. His stamina has also greatly increased! Where he used to get tired warming up, he is now totally crushing the full hour of training. Walking around campus is much easier, especially walking up Peterson Hill. Training has helped his energy levels improve drastically and he is now always in a great mood!
Venky is an IT Program Manager at United Health Group. One of his favorite aspects of his training program is the EASY to follow customized SUSTAINABLE DIET Mounir made for his particular dietary restrictions! Prior to training, Venky never would have imagined doing what he is capable of doing now! His critical thinking has improved, agility has gone up, and now truly enjoys going to the gym!
