A healthy mind in a healthy body. Use exercise to conquer your mind, mental health, and struggles with food.


My exercise and fitness philosophy can be summed up by three quotes: “Mens sana in corpore sano”, which is usually translated to, “A healthy mind in a healthy body.”, the Lao Tzu quote, “Mastering others is strength, mastering yourself is true power.” and a quote from the simple but very wise philosopher, Winnie the Pooh, “A little consideration, a little thought for others, makes all the difference.”

I believe in the power of intention. When I decided to make a career out of personal training, it came about from an obvious love of fitness and well-being, but most importantly, it came from a strong intention within to want to help others. I know what it feels like to struggle with weight, with food addiction, and with mental health. I also know the amount of strength required to take on those seemingly insurmountable struggles. Along with that, I also know the good feeling that comes from getting on the other side of those struggles, and that is where my intention comes in. If I can do it, I know anyone can. I became a personal trainer to guide others on their journey as they scale the mountains that I myself have done. With a mix of empathy, determination, and kindness, I set out to help them get to the other side and find that “feel good” place within. I always tell my clients, “I am here to show you that you can do what you think you can’t do.”
